Drawing on imagination, memories, longing and the psyche, Donna Jorna invites the viewer to contemplate a landscape that appears undiscovered and uninhabited. Nature lush and untouched.
Remnants of an ancient civilisation or hidden life in the landscape suggest an unknown, unspoken narrative. Nature divine and mystical, the landscape acting as a metaphor for a state of mind, and reflecting the viewers own imagination.
