Purposely peripatetic my creative practice is informed by a long career as a professional dance artist/choreographer. Much of my dance career was spent making self reflexive improvised solo pieces. It is no great surprise that within my emerging visual arts practice I am drawn to work across mediums and utilise diverse approaches that involve spontaneity and movement.

I have recently moved from suburban Sydney to a large property on the Mid North Coast. It has been a massive shift and 18 months later I am still reeling. This video work is about trying to find my place in a totally new place, about curving to fit, learning the physical language of the environment, mirroring to pay homage to complex beauty that I am in awe of but do not totally understand.
