This painting's aim is to draw the eye from bottom to top following the yellow cutting through the blue, weaving left and right in an attempt to add an element of time if only brief. Perhaps akin to a drum lick in a song or a cut scene in a movie. I use multiple layers of paint to create a strong texture which I find enhances the illusion of movement and creates a tactile effect to which it can also be experienced with touch.
