My Inner Child
About the artwork:
This is a self portrait depicting my inner child. I am a Hunter artist and my achievements as an artist can be attributed to the experiences I draw on from my creative and playful side, that I relate to as my inner child. In the artwork, I am sitting with an abundance of flowers embracing the joy of life that is our fingerprint to individuality. The joy of life is with me as a mother, grandmother and in my relations to friends and acquaintances.

About the artist:
I was born at the Mater Hospital in 1959 and grew up in Adamstown. I have spent my entire life in Newcastle and now reside in Lake Macquarie.
