Aksara: Nicola has been a genuine guiding artistic force in this collaboration. This mentorship has been a valuable experience having someone share the same passion and ideas for explorative storytelling. We also aspire to learn different art techniques and how to incorporate them into our practice which has been incredible sharing our thoughts on such experiences.

Nicola: We decided to extend our ocean world from just a 2D artwork into a 3D sculpture. We have used ceramic clay, paper clay, fabric, wood and acrylic paint. We both believe it is essential to push yourself creatively. Some will be failures. But you are constantly learning and growing.
